Create templates for different types of bids. If you’ve created a bid and your line items are usually the same, you can save that bid as a named template. For instance, you might regularly install electric service in restaurant franchises. With enhanced Bid Builder, you can save a bid as a template and name it “Franchise Bid”. Now, each time you bid on this type of job, you are already most of the way there. Just check each line and adjust it as needed, then save it under a new name. 

Jumpstart bids using templates. You can add or remove lines within the bid or even save under a new name. Imagine that you have submitted a bid to a general contractor for pouring a concrete foundation. The general contractor replies that there has been a change in the project and he needs a new bid. No need to start over. You can simply pull up your previous bid, make the necessary changes, and save it. Once it is complete, you can submit it – and you will have a time-stamped record of when you sent each version to the general contractor.
