We are excited to announce our latest feature called Connections, exclusively available for Premier members. This feature is specifically designed for subcontractors, allowing them to establish connections with general contractors and stay updated on their projects.
The Connections Tab feature is a game-changer for Premier subcontractors. It allows them to follow and stay updated on projects posted by general contractors of interest, empowering them to establish real-world relationships and monitor high-value general contractors in their local work areas. With easy access to project details and the ability to connect with general contractors, subcontractors gain enhanced networking capabilities and greater control over their project opportunities. This feature reinforces PlanHub’s commitment to facilitating connections and delivering innovative solutions that streamline the construction bidding process, enabling subcontractors to thrive in the industry.
What is the Connections feature?
Connections enables Premier Subcontractors to “follow” the general contractors they are interested in and access a feed of all the projects posted by them. It offers subcontractors a unique opportunity to identify and monitor high-value general contractors in their local work areas, ultimately helping them build real-world relationships.
Why did we introduce this feature?
One of the core value propositions of PlanHub is to facilitate connections between subcontractors and general contractors. The Connections tab feature reinforces this proposition by empowering subcontractors to discover general contractors of interest and keep track of their project postings. We understand that establishing meaningful connections with general contractors is crucial for subcontractors, and this feature aims to assist them in achieving that goal.
How does it work?
Within the Project Details button, the general contractor card now includes a “Follow” button that allows subcontractors to follow the projects posted by that general contractor. Subcontractors can access all the projects posted by the general contractor in the Connections tab. Additionally, we have added a new column to display the general contractor company name associated with each project.
